Myopia

SHORT-SIGHTEDNESS

What is Myopia (Short-Sightedness)

Myopia happens when the eye focuses images in front of the retina instead of directly on it. This usually occurs because the eyeball is slightly too long, or the focusing parts of the eye (like the cornea or lens) are too strong. As a result, distant objects look blurry while close-up vision stays clear.
